Take action on Coxs Hill!

Local campaigners Rain Welham-Cobb and Rosemary Smith are calling for safety improvements on Coxs Hill

In response to views from the Residents of Mistley, Manningtree and Lawford expressed in a recent survey by Manningtree and District Liberal Democrats, local campaigners Rain Welham-Cobb and Rosemary Smith are calling on Essex County Council to reduce the speed limit at the bottom of Coxs Hill, down towards the station roundabout, from 60mph (national speed limit) to 40mph. In addition, we are calling on Essex County Council to add footpath lights from the start of Coxs Hill, from the station roundabout, up towards the start of the 30mph speed restriction.

I/we the undersigned call on Essex County Council to introduce a 40mph speed limit at the bottom of Coxs Hill and add footpath lights, in the interest of public safety.
